Following a Federal Executive Council meeting Nigerian Minister of Solid Minerals Hon. Dele Alake, attributes Nigerian banditry to foreign illegal miners. Minister Alake announced a new Federal Government policy document which aims to end all illegal mining, increase the contribution of solid minerals to the country’s GDP while reducing dependence on oil and gas.
